I create most resin artwork for commissions only.  The price depends on the size and embellishments my client would like.  As you can see in the video above, resin art is joyful and full of vibrancy.  Colors and design are chosen by my client after deep discussion as to what emotion and space they would like to decorate.  It's an exciting and rewarding process for both of us and it's truly my favorite part of being an artist.  Email any questions you may have by clicking on the CONTACT header of this website.

These sizes below are the most popular sizes and do not include frames.    Custom sizes are available upon request.  

Custom resin frames are available for the above pieces in several designs.  

CUSTOM DESIGNED RESIN FRAMES

These frames are custom designed by Marietta on a CAD/CAM 3D computer program, are constructed form wood and composite material, and cut with a CNC machine.  CNC stands for "Computer Numerical Control" and is a machine that follows the path of the file sent by the artist to the operator of the machine.   The operator make sure the files comply with the format and ability of the machine, cuts, and assembles the frames one at a time.  This is a time consuming, labor intensive, and expensive process.  The result is impeccably accurate and is created specifically for a certain size of original scratchboard art.   

The embellishment of these frames with resin gives the original artwork an unbelievable unique presentation.  The black and white portions of the scratchboards become very intense and give the pieces a 3D lifelike appearance that is unsurpassed to any other framing choices. It is simply EXTRAORDINARY.

PAYMENT

I ask for a 50% down payment before I start the process.  25% of the cost is non-refundable with the final 50% due after the work is completed.  I will send you a photograph of the completed work for your approval.  Once it is approved, I will proceed with the completion of the piece once I receive and process the final payment.  

The completion involves a  a UV protectant spray varnish onto the surface of the pieces that are ordered without custom resin frames.  This process takes 2 days to complete before shipping.

For those orders with the custom resin frames, I will embed the scratchboard commissions into the frames with colorants and resin best suited for the particular custom color and feel of each piece.  After the resin is poured onto each piece, it has to cure for 10 days before shipping. I will send you an image of the completed famed piece for your approval before shipping.
